Somerset is a private Club and welcomes all guests accompanied by a Member.
In order to make your visit as pleasant as possible, please note a few important guidelines.
Proper attire is required in all areas of the Clubhouse including the Dining Room, Grill and on the Lawn/patio. The dress code for all areas is "country club casual".
Proper attire for men: quality shorts, pants, golf shirts, collared shirts.
Proper attire for women: quality shorts, pants, skirts, dresses and appropriate tops.
Attire that is not acceptable in the Clubhouse or Patio area includes blue jeans, short shorts, cutoffs, gym shorts, sweatpants, t-shirts, men's sleeveless shirts, tank or halter tops, and frayed or ripped clothing of any kind.
Hats, caps or visors are not to be worn in the Clubhouse. In areas where hats are permissible, bills must be worn forward. Footwear must be worn at all times in the Clubhouse and on the Patio.
Traditional golf attire must be worn on the golf course and practice area at all times. All members and their guests must wear shirts, pants, shorts and golf or tennis shoes. Shorts and skirts must be of Bermuda short length or longer. Shorts must be traditional golf shirts with collars or a comparable alternative without a collar. No cutoffs, short shorts, walking shorts, gym type clothing, blue jeans, t-shirts, halter or tank tops are permitted. Spikeless golf shoes or an approved alternative must be worn. Barefoot players are not permitted. Hats must be worn with the bills forward.
Only swimming attire is allowed in the Pool. No shorts or cutoffs are permitted in the Pool. Those going to and from the Pool and Clubhouse must wear a shirt or robe, and footwear.
Swim diapers must be worn by infants.
Towels are provided by the Club.
Proper tennis wear must be worn at all times on the courts.
For women, appropriate tennis shirts, shorts and skirts are required; cutoffs and short shorts are not considered proper attire.
For men, tennis shirts and shorts are required; cutoffs, tank tops, sleeveless shirts and no shirts are not considered appropriate attire. Tennis shoes are the only footwear permitted on the court surface.
CELL PHONE POLICY.
The use of electronic devices to communicate is discouraged because of the potential to detract from the Club's relaxed, informal, family atmosphere. Cell phone ringers shall be either turned off or in silent mode. Cell phone voice communications shall take place only in automobiles. Silent use of mobile electronic devices is permissible except in the Dining Room and Grill and on the Patio.
The Club is not responsible for loss, in any manner, of property of any guest.
Tipping of any Somerset Country Club employee or caddy is prohibited.
